Zooreal
-------

This is my entry to the January MAGS 2005.

You play as Carla the kangaroo (it was originally meant to be a male kangaroo, but they don't have ponches and who says women couldn't be heroes?), and your objective is simple: save your friends from the zoo!

The interface is similar to those of the old Sierra-games (early 90's); you use the mouse and pushing it too the top of the screen brings up a choice of options:
* Walk - (or jump...) select where you want Carla to go.
* Look - look at things, or read the more or less interesting signs and notes you'll find.
* Interact - use/push/pull or pick up stuff.
* Talk - talk to the other animals. You can even talk to the human character in the game. However, when your friends arrive on the boat, they get lost in their own thoughts and aren't willing to talk anymore.
* Ponch - this brings up the inventory. This is all the stuff you carry. You can look at the different things, interact them (not much needed , erm, maybe a couple of times...), or select one to use in accomplishing your tasks.
* Save - save your game.
* Restore - restore one of your old games.
* Exit - does what it says.
* AGS - for a little note on the AGS-engine...

While playing, you can roll through walk-look-interact-talk and the currently selected inventory item with a right click on the mouse, or by rolling the mouse wheel (if you're the lucky owner of one of those).

The resolution is 320x240 at 32-bit colour.

Thanks goes to:
- The contributors at micromusic.net for lovely retro-style compositions
- Rudi Simmons for helping out on dialogs
- Chris Jones for building the ags-engine -> http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/

Have fun!

Good night.
