18 MB Hard Disk Space
OpenGL compatible graphic card (at least Voodoo2)
Sound card

Recommended:

A 800 Mhz processor

A Linux version is under development.

2) Installation
---------------

Simply unzip the downloaded file in a directory at your choice... and run XeWeX.exe!
To uninstall the game... delete all the files! :)

3) Instructions
---------------

The game is very simple.
You have to throw the blue disc in your opponent's goal.
You control the direction and force of your disc using a red arrow.
The game is played on an ice field (like hockey), so use inertia and
bounces to build some cool action! :)
The game is a real-time and turn-based game at the same time, but it's
easier to play than to explain.
To quickly understand how the game works, I suggest you to see a
PC vs PC match where both players are controlled by your computer!

During the game you can change the viewpoint using F1, F2, F3 and F4.
There's also a mini-cam you can enable with F5, F6, F7 and F8.
By pressing F9 you toggle the FPS counter.
And if you want to take a screenshot press F10 and in the game
main directory will be created a bitmap file named "screenshot.bmp"

From the options menu you can change many aspects of the game like:
- Quarter length: a match is divided in four quarters
- Timeout length: it's the number of seconds are given to control
  your disc
- Game mode: you can choose between Player vs Player, Player vs PC and
  PC vs PC.
- Daytime: the game can be played in a sunny day or in a beautiful night :)
- Music: on or off :)
- Arena: by now there are two arenas, select your favourite one
- Logo: select your logo!

You can also redefine keys for both players clicking on Redefine Keys in the
main menu. Special keys like SHIFT, CTRL, etc... are accepted too.

Finally, please take a tour of the fantastic world of XeWeX clicking on Credits! :)

Have fun!!!

4) Video settings
-----------------

You can set screen resolution, screen depth and set fullscreen on or off editing
the file called "video.cfg".
Open it with a text editor and you'll see the following:
- First number is the horizontal resolution
- Second number is the vertical resolution
- Third is the screen depth (24 or 32)
- Fourth number can be 1 (fullscreen) or 0 (windowed)

Edit, save and re-launch the game!
In the future I'll integrate video settings in the options menu.

5) Known bugs
-------------

- After quitting the game, you'll see a Warning message in the console... that's ok :)
- Playing in the TRIS arena, under some specific camera positions, the ambient light
  could turn off
- Sometimes after a goal, players' discs could be positioned in random places

6) Technical support
--------------------

If the game crashes please check that your system fits
the minimum requirements listed above.

I can give a limited technical support.
Simply send an e-mail to F104@softhome.net with the log.txt
file attached.
Please tell me as many details as you can about the type
