Xain'D Sleena was written over a 3 month period for www.remakes.org contest
I want to say a special thankyou to Rocko, I'm sure you'll agree he has done
a wicked job with the music and sound effects.

I have included a manual in PDF format, but for those of you that cant be bothered
(would you even be reading this?), the default controls are as follows:

LEFT/ RIGHT Run / Control Ship
UP/DOWN Duck/Prone / Control Ship
Z Shoot / Shoot
X Jump / Torpedoes

By tapping jump, Xain can jump multiple times before hitting the ground.
Xain'D Sleena is a multi-game. For each stage, first you play a run'n gun style
platform game, then you play a horizontally scrolling shoot'em up game.

There are some hidden bonuses to be found, and also unlockable game modes.
Completion of the main game will reward you with 'SHMUP' mode, then completing 'SHMUP'
mode will reward you with 'SURVIVOR' mode.
All controls/rewards/scores are recorded for the next time you may play.

There where also numerous beta testers, I want to thank them too. They helped to make
this game what it is, and for tracking down bugs that slipped past me!

System Req:
Managed to get the game tested on many machines, ranging from a Geforce2 right up the
latest end cards. Only capable machines will get shader effects ofcourse.
I recomend a minimum of 64mb ram, and a 16mb gfx card with opengl support.
Low end users be warned - the image qualit option requires more ram!

Thats all I have to say, hope you enjoy the game. It may not be to everybodys taste
but in my eyes Xain'D Sleena is an oldskool classic. X-0ut'06

                              Peace!

BUGS:
Some people owning dual monitors are having problems (black screen etc), this is apparently
a problem with the un-official branch of SDL that I use - this can be fixed, by setting:

Filter = 0

in the engine.cfg unfortunately this will disable shader effects.
