        _..-'^ goal ^'-.._

The goal of the game is to build tracks between all the cities,
so the passengers can move from city to city. You will have a
fixed amount of money ($2000) at the beginning of the game;
use that money for building stations and rails. People going
from one city to another city will pay you money that you can
invest in more stations and rails.

        _..-'^ The Time-Table (F2) ^'-.._

At any moment during the game, you can bring up a Time-Table by
pressing F2. It will show you a matrix with the currently
fastest time from each city to each city in arbitrary time
units. The goal of the game is to get a number in every position
in this matrix.

The "connections left" indicator tells you how many connections
you still have to make.

Warning: currently the game won't do anything special when you
reach the goal. You can have the satisfaction of getting to see
a full time-table, but that is all.

        _..-'^ building rails / stations ^'-.._

In the top of the screen you will see the buttons with the
options for building railroads and stations.

Clicking the "P" will give you a normal pointer. While in "P"
mode, you can click on stations and trains to bring up
information dialogs (note: detection of overlap
between the mouse pointer and a train is not perfect,
it works best to click a little bit behind the train...)

Clicking in the "+R" will enable you to build tracks. The
shape of the track will be automatically selected by the
program depending on its context. One piece of track
costs $10.

Selection button "-R" allows you to erase old tracks. You
recover $5 for each piece of track.

Button "S" is for building stations. One station costs $500.
The station will be named after the nearest city automatically.

The button TL is for traffic lights, but these are not yet
implemented in the game. Currently it doesn't do anything.

        _..-'^ building trains ^'-.._

To build new trains, you first need to build two stations, with
a rail between them. When you do so, you can click on a station
in "P" mode to bring up the station dialog and press the
"add train" button. One train costs $100.

The train program is determined randomly. The train will select
one of the existing stations as a target at random, and will
start shuttling between the selected station and the random
target.

If the train cannot create a path to the randomly selected
target, it will pick a different target.

If you wish to reach a certain city or station, just keep
building trains until one happens upon it by chance :)

Future versions of this game will have the option to edit the
train program, but unfortunately there was insufficient time to
implement that at this point.

New game : press this menu option to start a random new game.

Save game : currently unimplemented

Time Table : Brings up the time table dialog

Toggle Full Redraw : switch from dirty-rectangle mode to full
redraw. The former is less CPU intensive, but I've noticed
it can cause significant lag when there is a lot happening
on the screen. The latter is more smooth but will cause
high CPU usage. Full redraw is on by default, try to toggle
it and see which works best on your hardware.
