+++ The Aim of The Game +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The aim of the game is simple - cover the screen in red blocks, which
are left behind your yellow square. You cannot retrace your steps, so
you must devise a way to traverse the course without going back on a
red square. To make things more interesting, there's a time limit too!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++       Controls      +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The controls couldn't be simpler! Just use the direction keys to move
your yellow square. You can press ENTER to go to the Pause Menu, where
you can either Resume, Restart or Quit the level. Use ENTER and the UP
and DOWN keys to navigate these menus.

You can also change the Music Volume, by pressing + and - to increase or
decrease the volume of the music.

+++  The Memory Round   +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

After every five levels, you will have the chance to earn some serious
points! In these rounds you must remember, and follow, the path of the
blocks. You only get a few seconds to look at them, so concentrate
hard! You'll need to, if you're going to remember up to 17 directions!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++       Scoring       +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

There are several methods of scoring in Terragon. The most important is
that you will get points every time you complete a level. The amount of
points you get depends on how fast you do the level! You can also pick
up apples and gems in the levels, worth 25 points and 50 points
respectively. As well as that, there are 4 arrows in each level. If you
can work out a way to follow the path of these arrows, you will get LOTS
of points! The first is worth 30, the second 90, the third 180 and the
last is worth a whopping 360 points! Make sure you get all of these if
you're trying to get the top score!

Your points will be wiped every time you get a Game Over, which means
you must start from Level One if you wish to get the highest score
possible!

The only occasion you lose points is when you opt to Restart a level.
This will set you back to the amount of points you had at the star of the
level, minus another 250 points. This may sound harsh, but it beats
getting a Game Over and not being able to get any more points, right?!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++  Submitting a Score +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Once you get a Game Over, you get the chance to submit your score.
There's no harm in doing it, so why not show the world how great you
really are! Just enter your name and press ENTER. See the 'Scoring'
section for some tips on how to get good scores!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++       Saving        +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The game saves automatically, but only on the Game Over screen. So do
NOT quit the game during a level, or else your progress might not be saved!
The way it works is: at the Game Over screen, your furthest level is saved.
You can then load from that level later, but with a score of zero.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++  The Level Editor   +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So you've finished all 50 levels of Terragon? Well, there's no reason to
stop there! Why not design your own levels, so you can set you and your
friends challenges! The Level Editor allows you to do this with a few clicks
of the mouse. Unlike with many Level Editors, this is very quick and easy to
do! You can get to the Level Editor by opening "LevelEditor.exe", or by
selecting "Editor" and then "Edit" on the Main Menu.

On the right side of the Editor, you have your items to be placed. Start off
by placing some Black Blocks by clicking the mouse in the map area. You should
then place your yellow square - the start position of the level. If you'd like
to place an Apple or a Diamond, go ahead! These can add an extra dimension to
the level. Then, you MUST add the four arrows to the level.

To add an arrow to the level, first click the "Arrows" Radio Button.
Then, click on the first Drop Down Menu, which is just below it.
Select the direction you wish the arrow to point in, then place it on the map.
Do this with the other 3 levels, and you will have finished the level!

If you make any mistakes, you can remove items by clicking them with the right
mouse button.

You can also change the theme of the level, you have 5 to choose from.

Once you are done, enter a name into the "Save" Input Field, making sure you
name it with the format "*.dat". The level will be saved into the "User Levels"
folder. When you want to play your level, go to "Editor" and then "Play" on the
Main Menu. Then scroll down the list until you find your desired level, and
press ENTER!

Remember, if you've got a level from a friend, put it in the "User Levels"
folder, or else Terragon will not be able to find it!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++        Errors       +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It's possible that you may get an error whilst loading a level. This is probably
due to the fact that a level has been tampered with. This is to help keep the
Online Scoreboard cheat-free. If you get an Error in the main game, the best
thing to do is to re-download and install Terragon.

The other possibility is that you're trying to load a User Level, which isn't
in the right format, or it has been tampered with. There isn't anything you can
do if this happens, the level will simply not load.
