Introduction
------------
TSCreate is a tool for creating league data files to use with
TeamStats for PocketPC. TSCreate basically takes a text file with
matches and creates a data file for TeamStats.

TSCreate is written using Microsoft .NET technology so you'll need to
have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your desktop computer
to use it. Microsoft .NET Framework can be installed using Windows
Update. The source code for TSCreate is available in the "src"
folder.

TSCreate is available both as a GUI-version and as a command line
version. The GUI-version is easier to use but the command line
version can be used in scripts.

Usage GUI version
-----------------
The most important input to TSCreate is a text file containing all
the matches of the league. If you check out the files in this
directory I'm sure you can figure out the format. To start TSCreate
just double click TSCreate.exe. Then select the match file and enter
any other parameters you like. When you're done click Create file to
create the data file.

Usage command line version
--------------------------
For the command line version you also need a configuration file with
a few parameters.

The following parameters can be used in the configuration file:

Matchfile - The name of the file that contains the matches.

LeagueName - The name of the league. Maximum 16 characters.

Winpoints - The number of points for a win.
If not specified the default value is 3.

Drawpoints - The number of points for a draw.
If not specified the default value is 1.

Losspoints - The number of points for a loss.
If not specified the default value is 0.

TableSort - Specifies which criteria should be used to sort the table
when teams are equal on points. Valid values are:
            goaldiff_goalsfor, goaldiff_wins, wins_goaldiff,
            wins_goalsfor, goalsfor_goaldiff, and goalsfor_wins.
If not specified the default value is goaldiff_goalsfor.

Line1 - Specifies positions in the table where lines should be
drawn. This parameter can be used several times by changing
the number after Line (Line1, Line2, etc.) You can have
maximum four lines in the table.

Points1 - Adds or deducts points for a team. The format is
          teamname;points. Example:
To give Djurgrden two extra points: Points1=Djurgrden;2
To deduct three point from AIK: Points1=AIK;-3
This parameter can also be used several times by changing
          the number after Points.

If you check out the example files in this directory I'm sure you can
figure out how it all works.

To run TSCreate execute TSCreateCmd.exe from a command prompt and give
the name of the configuration file as a parameter.

Example:

> TSCreateCmd all04.txt

This will create the file Allsvenskan04.ts
