Thanks for downloading ROBOTRAGEDY.

This is my first game and probably, not the last. I have spent almost a year drawing, colouring, most of the time pulling my hair in despair and loosing some degree of my already short sight (I have miopia) to release this adventure game that is first of all, an homage to all those wonderful games we played when we were younger (at least I was) and that haunted my sleepless nights trying to figure out the solution to a puzzle.
I dare to say that my favourite one and the best of all times is Day of the Tentacle.
Also, I made this game in an effort to show those in the games business that adventure games are not a dead genre and adventure players want more than an excuse to stop doing them.
  And now to the game:
You play Toby X, a cute little robot in love with a famous robotic singer, Robotinna, who's been kidnapped and that makes up the quest for Toby: First reach the living room where the the T.V. will cast the show of Robotinna and second, rescue her from the hands of her abducters.
The plot is simple, I know, but it was my first try ar AGS and it started as a short game and a trial-experiment for me. Later, I decided to enhance it to a full length game.
Make sure before you start playing to adjust the settings in the game setup. I designed it for a 640-400 resolution and there are two languages for the game: English as default and there's a spanish translation.
I want to acknowledge the help of several people who helped me through the making of the game.
-Arnaldo Martn for listening when I spoke like a parrot and creating the octopus puzzle.
-Greg "Geoffkhan" Schlaepfer for answering my countless e-mails, giving some good advices, making the announcement for the game in the forum and being a great helping friend though we have never met.
-My wife and daughters for their patience throughout the time I spent in front of the computer.
-and everybody else who was around, you know who you are.
I can't go without saying that the music for the game is not original. I took it from different sources. The music for the first part of the game was taken from an insta-game that a friend of mine downloaded some time ago and as I don't know the names, I ask the creators of this tune to please publicly show themselves. I'm sorry if this bothers you but that music is great. Maybe for a second Robotragedy you can lend me some music?

Particularly, thanks to Chris Jones for developing AGS into the great tool it is. Keep it up.
