THE GAME
========

This game is based on the 1989 Mitchell arcade game "Pang", although it has some differences.

CONTROLS
========

[SPACE BAR] This is the only control key required for the entire game, even hi-score name entry

[ESC] Exits the game

OBJECT OF THE GAME
==================

The object of the game is to burst all the bubbles on the screen until none remain. Use [SPACE BAR] to fire your weapon to burst the bubbles.

When hit by your weapon, each bubble will split into 2 smaller bubbles until it is the smallest size bubble. Burst this and it will disappear. Repeat with all bubbles until none remain to clear the stage.

Be aware that every time you press [SPACE BAR], your player will change to the opposite direction - if the player was walking right before pressing [SPACE BAR] then he will now walk left and vice versa. Your player will turn automatically if he collides with a wall.

Occasionally, items fall down from the top of the screen - all of these are worth extra points, however some have special abilities - learn to use these to your advantage or avoid those that have a negative effect...

Unlike the original game, collisions with bubbles do not cause instant death. A health bar is now depleted by each collision with a bubble. If your health (HP) is empty, you will lose one life. If you manage to clear a level without losing any energy, you will receive a "PERFECT" bonus.

There are 40 levels to the game, starting off at Mount Fuji in Japan. You will move through 10 different countries, each containing 4 unique stages.

An extra life is awarded every 100,000 points.

Good luck, and go bust some bubbles!
