Pac Maze - Darklightmw
How To Play
The goal of single player mode is to gather all the white pellets in the fastest possible amount of time.
You cannot touch the ghosts, or else you lose a life. If you lose all your lives, you lose the game.
You can, however, eat the ghosts when they are blue. To turn them blue, you must eat the glowing blue super pellets. This will only turn them blue for a limited amount of time, however.
In multi-player mode, you compete against a second player to see who can gather the most pellets without touching the ghosts.
Controls
Player 1 Uses right, left, up, and down to move in those directions.
Player 2 uses D, A, S, and W to move right, left, down, and up respectively. Those keys are set up just like the arrow keys.
1: Player Number
This is the option that controls whether there are one or two players.
2: Player 1 Options
Player 1 Color can be used to change the color of player 1, and Player 1 Lives controls how many times Player 1 can die before he loses. Please note that player 1's and player 2's colors cannot be the same. If they are, player 2's color will automatically be changed.
3: Player 2 Options
Player 2 Color can be used to change the color of player 2, and Player 2 Lives controls how many times Player 2 can die before he loses. Please note that player 1's and player 2's colors cannot be the same. If they are, player 2's color will automatically be changed.
4: Movement Variables
These variables control how the players move.

Movement type controls how the player moves. If it is marked "stopped", then the player will stop when you arn't pressing any keys. If it is marked "continuous", then the player will continue to move in that direction until another key is pressed or you hit a wall.

Movement Speed controls how fast the players move. Slow is 4 pixels per step and fast is 8 pixels per step. If you have a slow computer, you might want to put it on fast.
5: Quit Game Button
Does just what it says. Click it to exit the game.
6: Game Help Button
Displays this help.
7: Start Game Button
Starts a new game with all the options set to what is visible.
8: High Scores
Actually its better to have a lower score, seeing as scores are how long it took to complete a level. Scores can only be set if you are playing on single player, and scores are how many steps it takes you to gather all the pellets.
9: Enemy Options
The first option is simply how many ghosts there are at the start of the game. The second option (if on) makes the ghosts spawn more ghosts about every 700 steps.
10: Map Generators
This is the number of paths in the map. The more there are, the more complex the map will be. The less there are, the more linear the map will be.
11: Super Pellets In Game
The number of super pellets in the game. Super pellets, when eaten, turn ghosts blue, and allow you to eat them for a short amount of time.
12: Maximum FPS
The maximum frame per second that the game will run at. Faster computers might want to set it lower then 30, slower computers will want to set it higher then 30.
13: Player Bars
Useful information about each player is displayed here such as lives, pellets left (in single player mode) and pellets eaten (in multi-player mode).
