Chapter 1 : Introduction

My name is Lord Spaceman. I live in South Africa and I am 17 years old and love programming. I started programming in 1998. The first program I started using was QBASIC.
I then moved on to Turbo Pascal and then Klick 'n Play. I have now settled for The Games Factory and enjoy using it alot. I'm currently teaching myself Visual Basic 6 and
hope to master that soon. I currently make my games alone and wouldn't mind a programming partner !

Chapter 2 : The Game

This game takes place four years after the original Mario In Worlds Unknown. It's a sequel that has taken a few weeks and something I really enjoyed doing. I would love to
make a third game to make a trilogy, but I think I'll wait a while for that to happen. I feel I just had to make this game to give the Worlds Unknown story a better understanding.

The problem I had with the first game, was that I recieved loads of complaints about how the first Worlds Unknown game was a very poor clone and that it was too easy and
that Mario jumped too high. Now, to me that is a load of rubbish because, this game isn't supposed to be copying the other Mario games and isn't meant to have the same
feel as the original Mario Bros.

I've made it so that if you touch any enemies in the game, you will die. I hate people saying to me "Why don't you make Mario kill the enemies ?". I don't want you to kill the
enemies. I love the way he jumps so high and I've never seen or played any other Mario game with the same 'feel' as mine.

Plus I like keeping it simple.

Chapter 4 : Game Tips

Improve Game Performance :

On Windows XP :
Right click on the .exe file (eg. C:\Windows\MIWURoK\MIWURoK.exe) and choose 'Properties' and the select the Compatibility tab. Then under the Display settings box, select 'Run in 256 colors' and 'Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution'. The game will now run faster, bigger and better !!!

On Windows 95/98/98 SE/ME :
Right click on your desktop and select 'Properties' and then select the last tab (on your right !) then change the 'color depth' to '256 colors' and 'screen resolution' to '640 x 480'. Do this every time you want to play my game and the game will run faster, bigger and better !!!
