A Bug's Drive
--------------

This is my entry to the Caiman Car Contest 2008.

All the championships are now accessible.
(finish in the top 3 in a championship to unlock the next one).

There are 12 tracks in the game. The graphics don't differ massively between tracks,
but I have added a bit of variety with elements such as tunnels, bridges and different textures.

There are three modes to play, within both Quick Race and Championship.
These are Practice, Qualify and Race.

In Practice Mode you can now race against the ghost of your best lap.
There is one ghost representing your overall best, and another for your session best.
Even if you choose not to display them, the ghosts of your best laps will still be saved.

Modes
-------
Practice - Continue to set laps indefinitely
Qualifying - You have 3 laps to set a qualifying lap for the Race
Race - Compete against up to 11 other cars (depending on difficulty)
In the race you initially drive the blue car, but you can choose a
different colour in the Options Menu

Game Controls -	Accelerate Up Arrow
		Brake/Reverse Down Arrow
		Turn Left/Right Left/Right Arrows
		Pause P
		Quick Restart Q
		Confirm Selection Enter
		Pause / Exit P / Escape

These are the default controls (A). You can change to a different control set-up on the Options Menu.
Controls B use other keys. Controls C and D use a joypad.

Other than the actual control of the car, there is only one set of controls each for Keys and Joypad.

Either Keys or Joypad can be used to navigate the main menu, and this is not affected by your
choice of controls.

In-game Menu
---------------
This menu appears when you pause the game (with Escape or P)

Menu Controls - Up/Down Arrows Select
		Enter or Space Bar Confirm

Change Camera
----------------
You can change the camera position either with C or with Joypad Buttons 5 and 6.
I have included a bonnet cam, although it isn't very practical, as it makes avoiding collisions
much more difficult.

Music
------
If music is on, a random track from the music folder will be played.
The default tracks are from Outrun and other games. If you would prefer different
music you can put any non-midi track into this folder to include it in the playlist.

During the game: Press M to pause / unpause the current track
Press N to stop the current music, and start playing the next track.

Note: The above only works if music has not been turned off on the options menu.

Textures
---------
The textures in the game are mostly taken from the Idigicon 1001 Textures collection.
Some have been modified to produce different shades of the same texture.
