************************************PLAY THE GAME************************************************

If you have Win2000 or WinXP you can only play the Win executable.
If you have DOS you can only play the DOS executable.
If you have Win9x or WinMe you can play both.
To play the Win version click on Acwin.exe.
To play the DOS version click on Acdos.exe.

It's recommended to play the DOS version (unless you have Win2000 or WinXP ) since the music is louder (in Win is too quiet)

Before you play the game you must run the setup (DOSsetup for the DOS version and WINsetup for the Win version).
It's recommended to set the resolution to 640x400.

This game uses the classic Monkey Island I and II interface.
Left clicking somewhere on the screen will move the hero to that point or if he can't reach it close to that point.
Right clicking at an object will make the hero look there.
If you right click a character the hero will talk to him.

On the left side of the command panel are 4 buttons:
1. TAKE ( the hand ) : Pick up objects
2. INTERACT ( the hand holding a doll ): Used for interacting with objects, hotspots, inventory objects etc.
3. LOOK ( the eye) : Used for looking at things.
4. TALK ( the mouth ) : Used for talking with characters

On the middle is the inventory box.
The up arrow moves the inventory one line up ( if it's possible) and the down arrow one line down.
Right clicking on an inventory item will give a description of it.
To use an inventory item with a screen object ( hotspot etc ) click the INTERACT button then the inventory item and then the screen object ( hotspot etc).

Next to the inventory box is the options button. Clicking on it will bring up the options screen where you could change the games speed, text speed, music and sound volume.

On the right side of the command panel 4 buttons.
1. SAVE ( disk with incoming arrow) : Save a game.
2. LOAD ( disk with the outgoing arrow) : Restore a game.
3. ABOUT ( the ? ) : About the game.
4. EXIT ( door ) : Exit the game.

SHORTCUTS :

F5 = Save
F7 = Restore
Control+Q = Quit
O = Toggle options screen
