Arkan3D is a new Arcanoid remake, in which the third dimension is added.

The menu choises are New game (that's quite clear), Winner list (shows the best scores), Settings (see below), Help (this text) and End game.

In Settings you can change the resolution, turn On/Off the sounds, music, shadow (The ball projects itself on the bottom of the scene as a shadow if this option is on) and the language (if you want to change it from the one you entered at first).
-----
The goal is to destroy all the destroyable bricks on the level without letting the ball fall (and to get as much score as you can).
You move the pad by the mouse. For simplicity you just need to move the mouse in the direction where you want to move the pad.
The rotation of the view is done by the arrow keys. It is simple - Up and down is for vertical movement and rotation, Left and Right is for rotation around the scene.

The setting of the direction of the ball sticked to the pad is done by the 'vector'. For its viewing you just need to hold the right mouse button. As long as you have it pressed, your game is paused and you can set the vector by moving the mouse.
If the ball moves, it will reflect in dependence on where it fell on the pad.
-----
There are three types of bricks in this game:
 - one-color, which can be destroyed by just one impact of the ball
 - rainbow, which you have to hit twice to destroy (unless you got a special type of a ball)
 - grey, which cannot be destroyed at all, unless it turns into the rainbow one. This happens when 60 seconds pass without the ball touching any destroyable brick or hitting the pad, unless the game is paused.
-----
There are also falling bonuses. To pick them up you just need them to dissapear on your pad as they fall down. Let me introduce them and their effects:
(In the same order as they are on the side)
Bonuses:
Larger pad
Slower ball
Penetration ball
One more ball
Shooting
Sticky pad
One more life

Minuses:
Clumsy ball
Shorter pad
Faster ball
Saboteurs
No pickup
Reset

"Larger pad" will enlarge your pad, but is limited to scale "8".
"Slower ball" will make your ball move with the lowest velocity.
"Penetrtation ball" will change the ball color to red. It will then be able to go through every brick and destroy them at first contact, except for the indestructible.
"One more ball" will give you another ball. It will be in the middle of your pad, waiting for you to give it the direction and release it. If you already have a ball sticked to your pad, the new one won't appear.
"Shooting" will give you energy for charging the laser. The more you charge it by the left mouse button, the more bricks it will be able to destroy at one shot. When fully charged it can destroy 14 lines of normal, one-color bricks (in one column). Your energy supplies are limited. There is enough for one full charge in one bonus, but the maximum energy level in your supply is two times bigger.
"Sticky pad" will ensure that when the ball falls on it it will remain sticked there. You can again define the vector and let it go again. There can, however, be only one sticked. If you already have one, the other will just reflect.
"One more life" doesn't even need a closer description.
"Clumsy ball" will make the balls go black, by which it weakens them. If it hits a brick, there is a 40% chance of not damaging it.
"Shorter pad" will decrease the dimensions of your pad, again it is limited by the scale "2".
"Faster ball" speeds the ball up to maximum velocity.
"Saboteurs" will unleash six (the maximum) mobile small objects into the brick area. They are hard to destroy and steal attention. If you do destroy one, it throws the ball in a random direction.
"No pickup" will disable your ability to get bonuses for a short time ammount. You can still get the minuses.
"Reset" returns everything (except the bricks, balls, saboteurs and the score) to the condition in which they were in the beginning.
